Marc Harary

Marc Harary has an educational background in architecture, construction, and civil engineering, plus more than 30 years working in architecture and construction fields. Growing up just outside of New York City, in New Rochelle, New York, Harary attended undergraduate school at Columbia University. It was there, he says, “where exposure to the architecture of New York City became instrumental in my path to becoming an architect and an architectural photographer.”

Harary approaches each project in a highly collaborative way, working closely with clients to discover their needs, and using his skills and experience to capture the right lighting, color, and angles. He engages clients in the final photo selection to ensure customers are satisfied with the end product. This often results in photos that are not only fit for purpose for the specific project, but also can serve as pieces of art in their own right.

Harary also uses his architecture, construction, and photography skills to help his local community. He contributed photography services to the Hudson Park Greenhouse to help with fundraising efforts for a greenhouse and activities program for the New Rochelle community. Additionally, he serves as president and has worked on photography projects for Interfaith Dwelling Corporation, a non-profit in New Rochelle that constructs and maintains low-income housing for seniors.
